I'm a bit confused how to do a Watch battery replacement. My AW battery has fallen under 80% and I'm interested in paying for the battery replacement service. Is the only option to send it in, or can I make a Genius Bar appointment, drop it off, and then either have it shipped to me or return to the store to get the replacement.

I'm travelling in a few weeks and would prefer to get this taken care of the quickest way so I have the new battery for my trip.

I'd appreciate any advice or experiences on how best to request/process the service.

Thanks.

Depending on which series watch it is, is it worth it?

I believe that if you take it into the Genius Bar, you will also have to collect it from there when it's been replaced. But I might be wrong. I'm pretty sure that's how it works in the UK though.
