Hey guy, I've got a MBP and a Win7 PC. What's the quickest way of sending messages between them? For example, I want to send a URL to my desktop PC. At the moment, I'm simply emailing myself the links (or whatever). Whilst this works fine, I can't help but think there might be a more efficient way. Both systems are on the same network and can communicate fine. Thanks!

For text/links, email or IM will be the simplest and fastest.

For files, use dropbox.

Use your network and create shares between the two computers and transfer your data that way.

There are many methods, including Skype or other instant messengers, Dropbox, etc.

Thanks. I've created a network share and have a simple text file which I save my links to.
