Long-term QuicKeys user. Macros for Safari and other web browsers are all just text entry shortcuts.
While they worked fine under Snow Leopard, they are extremely sluggish to the point of being useless under El Cap. I was referred by someone to the setting for application sleep and made it so that QuicKeys doesn't sleep. Didn't help. Besides, QuicKeys works at its normal snappy rate in other applications (Finder, Cisco AnyConnect, etc). But in Safari, Chrome, Firefox... slow as hell.
