I use three Bluetooth devices with my MBA regularly (running Lion). I'd like a way to quickly connect to each of these. Ideally with a keyboard shortcut.

There must be a way to shortcut the menu items in the bluetooth menu "Connect This Device", but I haven't been able to find out how.

Any suggestions?

What kind of devices? How are you losing the connection? Once you connect a device, it should automatically reconnect if you turn it back on.

Keyboard, iPhone, Bluetooth Speakers

Not losing connection.

If I startup my computer, keyboard connects automatically, but other two devices don't. I'm happy that they don't connect automatically but a keyboard shortcut to connect to each device would be very helpful.

They don't appear on the Bluetooth menu when you click the icon on the Menu Bar? You should be able to click the icon, select the device and click "connect".

In System Preferences > Bluetooth, do you have "On" and "Discoverable" both checked?

Sorry. Musnt be making myself clear. It's very simple to connect to a Bluetooth device. I'd just like to use a keyboard shortcut to do it.

So I've worked out I can use Fn+Ctrl+F8 to select the Bluetooth menu in menubar, then I can use arrows to navigate to Connect to Device. But is there an AppleScript to do the same and then assign a keystroke?
