Hi, I bought a 13" MacBook Pro a week ago and upon setting up the machine for first time use I immediately installed coconutBattery so as to get the current capacity's initial reading. On Day 1 it had a 97% capacity which held steady for the next two days, but just today I noticed it dropped two percentage points to 95%.

Is this normal? Do I need to calibrate the battery? I fear that -- at this rate -- my battery will only have a 50% capacity in six months. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
 
Since others may read this thread, I'll answer your questions. It's normal for your battery health to fluctuate up and down over time. It's nothing to worry about. It's not a direct decline. Calibrate your battery to make sure your readings are as accurate as possible. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:
