Quickly deleting firefox bookmarks

Is the only way to delete firefox bookmarks to click "bookmarks -> organize bookmarks -> bookmarks menu-> bookmark XYZ and then press delete?

is there any way to do it from the drop down menu (ie shift-clicking something)?
