Quickly recognize text from screen?

Hello!

I'm looking for a way to quickly recognize text from image on a screen. The process should be fast (few seconds). The images are part of the video, but they are simple (white text on black background), so I'd rather not waste seconds to take a screenshot and upload it into a program, better something like select zone on the screen and get the text from it.

If taking screenshot is inevitable - what is the fastest program to get the text from image?
