No biggie, but does anyone know why I can't use Quicksilver to find artists who are part of a compilation?

Take the Lost in Translation OST, for example. Using QS's "Search iTunes" feature, I can search for the Kevin Shields's song "City Girl" and find it no problem. I can also search for "Lost in Translation" and find that. But I can't search for "Kevin Shields" - he just isn't there in the Artists list. This problem replicates across every one of my compilation albums. Artists only show up if they have a full album in their own right in my iTunes library.

I'm just curious - anyone know what's going on?! Thanks in advance.

(BTW, I have tried declassifying compilations as such - same result.)

when i try to find for artists and songs it works on quicksilver, but when i press to play that song via quicksilver it plays an other on itunes...

Yeah, I've had that too. Rescanning the catalog in QS (cmd-R) usually fixes it. Annoying though ... If all these little annoyances keep mounting up, I might head on back to good old reliable Butler!
