Quicksilver help

I got quicksilver a couple of weeks ago and it seems now that i will hit my hot keys, the window will flash, but then disappear. When I hit the hot keys a second time, it works fine, but its just annoying to hit them twice. Any ideas of what is going on or how to fix it?
