I recently discovered that QS was continuing to be developed/cleaned up by some folks and posted on Google Code for download. So, I uninstalled (w/ AppZapper, which allegedly got the .plists and cache) my old Blacktree version and downloaded the newest version off of the Google Code link.
I was VERY pleased at the basic install process, which seemed quick and seamless, vs. my original install from BT, which continually hung. Then, I began installing - or trying to install - some of the plug ins which make QS so useful. Unfortunately, I would continually encounter a situation wherein an plug in would not install, would hang the machine and then crash QS. To add insult to injury, QS then couldn't be reopened. Whenever I would try to launch it, it would instantly crash. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it numerous times to no avail. On one install, I even didn't add any advanced plug-ins and just tried to use a basic set-up. When I tried to use a "Copy to", "Move to" "Open with", etc. options, it wouldn't even open a third pane to complete the direction.
Something seems very, very wrong with this version of QS and I was wondering if anyone else was having these problems and if so, do you suggest a fix (other than moving to LB, which I also use for certain things)?
