Quicktime 7.0 internet movie plugin missing.

I have been running 10.4 for about a week and a half and i thought everything was going fine until i tried to watch a movie on the apple quicktime site. All i get is a faded Q with a question mark over it... i am assuming that the internet movie plugin is missing? It will not work in IE or Safari

I have already reinstalled 10.4 to try and fix with no results.

Does any body know how i can fix this?

I am on a Ti Powerbook 1ghz w/1gig of ram.
