I did a clean install to OS X 10.5.5 and the isight picture was distorted in quicktime(photobooth, imovie) ...well i "fixed" that issue by manually downgrading to quicktime 7.5.0.
Then when i installed again 7.5.5, the picture distortion was fixed but now the framerate is SLOW. I manage only 10 or 15fps recording wiht quicktime pro. Normally it was 30fps. The picture is also somewhat too dark and framerate is capped to 15fps on other programs too, example imovie, photobooth
So, does anyone else find the same issue with quicktime 7.5.5 ?
Can you guys test, and record with quicktime "Best h.264" format and check what fps you get in the recording?
