Hi everyone,
I trying to play some .mpg files with quicktime 7. Every time I try to open the file Quicktime 7 I can't get the video to play. When played in Quicktime X the movie play just fine. I have installed Perian but nothing changed. The .mpg file contain one h264 stream and one AC3 track. I'm trying to convert the file to mp4 for iTunes without having to re-encode the video. Quicktime 7 has the passthrough option with allows this but this option seems to be missing from Quicktime X. Is it possible maybe to create a reference file in Quicktime X like in Quicktime 7 which could allow me to add my videos to iTunes?
Thanks for your answers...
