I am sure this thread has already been visited before, but here it goes. Is it possible to take a video and adjust the aspect ratio (take a 4:3 format video and adjust it to 16:9) in QuickTime Player?
I know you can do this in VLC player, but I have been unable to find the feature in QuickTime. For instance, you download a video on the internet to your hard drive, and it appears smushed from the sides when you try to play it in QuickTime player. The aspect ratio settings are wrong. You are trying to play an HD (16:9) ratio video in a 4:3 window. Like I said, VLC has this setting built-in to the program, you can adjust the aspect ratio easily. Just wondering if the same thing is possible in QuickTime. Much help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
