quicktime and apple remote?

Hi...

just a quick question.....I listen to .WMA audio files via Quicktime and use the apple remote (with the Macbook) to pause, play etc. However when I hold rewind button the speed at which it rewinds is very slow and only rewinds second by second...:( .

Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the speed at which the remote rewinds?
