Recently, whenever I try to play quicktime media in Safari or stream audio from a website, quicktime opens up in an external player. It doesn't play within the browser. How can I fix this?

If the videos are being handled by the Flip4Mac plugin (which allows QuickTime to play a few more types of videos), then you might need to uncheck the "Launch QuickTime Player" box in the Flip4Mac pane of System Preferences.

Thank you. That is exactly my problem.
