Quicktime as defualt

I have a second piece of video software installed, but Quicktime will automatically launch when I click on a video file. Can I change Quicktime so it will not be the default? If so, how.

Get info for each file/type you want to change, change the open with. Then click "Change All" and all files of that extension will open in your other application.
