Quicktime Broadcaster Help

I downloaded it today, and every time I attempt to record to my computer (NOT broadcast), I get a Connection Failed -5420 error. I'm not wanting to connect anywhere, just record video from my iSight. Note that I do not have iMovie 6 or the ability to use it to record from my iSight iMac G5. Any suggestions or help?
