When I launch System Preferences I see a light switch over where Quicktime should be. Does anyone have a solution as to how I can resolve this?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure this has to do with your system prefs plist file.

search in spotlight for this:

com.apple.systempreferences.plist

reveal the file in the finder and drag to the desktop. Relaunch system prefs and see if it is back to normal. If so drag the plist file on your desktop to the trash.

someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Cheers

Pretty odd..It didn't work. I remember when I had a problem with the iTunes artwork screensaver someone told me to drag a smiliar file to the trash and so on. But nope nothing happened.:confused::confused:
