Quicktime Exporting Problem

this is the error I get when I try to convert an mpg into iPod format (m4v). Anyone know the answer to fixing this?

However, i'm also wondering: if the movie can already be added to iTunes (which this does), will it already work on my iPod?

i also tried i also get an error its not your computer its just that damn format mpg cannot be converted without it losing sound or losing video i hate it i tried to do it and it just wont work well with at least quicktime.

Have you tried MPEG Streamclip? I find that it is very good at converting mpeg to all ipod compatable quicktimes.
