Quicktime freezes

i have a mbp and every time i put it into sleep what ever video i'm playing in qt freezes when i wake it up again. it is quite anoying because i dont like to use my mbp for an extended amount of time so i can let it cool down. but the videos somtimes take more time to load than i have.

so if you have any advice on how to help me fix the qt freezing issues let me know
