Quicktime from Mac hardrive to windows XP

I have been involved in a quicktime project. The film maker is giving me all the footage he shot on a Mac hard drive.
My problem is I am using a PC with windows XP
Can I plug the Mac Harddrive into my windows XP PC via usb and read the quicktime files?
If not what should I do?

HFSExplorer will let you read them. To write HFS+ volume on Windows, you need MacDrive
