Quicktime full screen mode navigation bar

If I play a divx file in QT full screen movie and move the mouse I get a navigation bar. However when playing a mov file I don't get the navigation bar.
 
Am I correct in assuming there should be a nav bar when viewing mov files in full screen mode?
