I have a serious problem with Quicktime exports and saving video files. Every time I try to export a video file regardless of format or settings, Quicktime just hangs. All I get is a blank export window (no progress bar) and that's it - Quicktime needs force quitting. The same applies when I try to save a new movie - it just hangs and produces no results. I have already tried numerous methods including permission repairs, trashing preference files and even downgraded QT to 7.4 - to no avail. I have looked everywhere for a solution and it seems that there are a few people who have the same problem but there doesn't seem to be neither a solution nor a workaround. I am posting this in the hope that someone out there knows how to solve this. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
