Back in Snow Leopard, when watching a movie in quicktime, I could use a magic mouse gesture to fast forward and back. Swiping left or right would advance the movie or go back, and this gesture would have inertia to it. Faster I did it, more it moved. Also, it would continue moving until stoping after my finger left the mouse surface.
Now in Mountain Lion, as sonn as my finger stop touching the mouse, the movie stops. Moreover, if I do this when actually playing a movie, instead of going forward, it doubles the playing speed by 2x or 4x or 8x etc. Is there a way to go back to the the way it was? Perhaps installing an older version of quicktime?
I remember having 10.0 on Snow Leopard and now I have 10.2 on Mountain Lion
