QuickTime, iOS 4, and HTML5

I was watching some video on my iPhone 4 when all of a sudden when it finished, the layout had changed and it looks like I just played a video in the iPad. I was unable to reproduce the layout on other videos, any chance how to appear every time I watch a video in Safari. Running 4.0.2

I'd actually prefer it if they allowed it the user to watch videos in the browser like that.

I could be wrong, but I thought I remembered readying that the iOS 4.0 beta was going to allow video playback just like the iPad (your photo) but at the last minute it was removed from the GM version.

This is correct. I bet it’s really simple to add the functionality back in. Probably just a check box in a property list. I doubt the removed all the code to do this, they probably just disabled it.
