Hello

Does Quicktime Pro have a function to start a video where I last stopped it, please? If not, does any program which will do it through Quicktime exist?

Answers are greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Movist does that, and it can play back a lot of video formats, including .mov files:

Thanks for the recommendation, but it stutters too much on playback. Besides, it a completely separate client. Yes, it is based on Quicktime and ffmpeg. However, I was hoping for an extension of QuickTime Pro itself, the way Perian does with codecs.

I'm watching a 540p, h264 encoded, 1600kpbs .mp4 and QuickTime is the only playback method which doesn't stutter for me.

I should mention I'm using an iBook PPC with 1.25gb RAM.

Playing where it the video left off is only a luxury. But, it is a luxury I'd like to have in QuickTime Pro natively.

Thanks again
