Quicktime not opening files in the internet window anymore

So my girlfriend has videos posted on her class angel site, and when she would click on them they used to open right in the window except half of the video would be cut off so she would have to open them in a new tab and they would open. Now they will not open in the window and she has to download them. The only thing that is different between then and now is that she got snow leopard. though the videos stopped working in the window before she got snow leopard. any ideas why.
