right, so i've got lots of folders with images in, just over a 80,000 images per folder, I'm using quicktime pros open image sequence feature to make them into movies, the process works well enough but takes ages to complete on my G5 iMac
Not to mention exporting them after
So I'm currently trying to figure out wether quicktime, and specifically the open image sequence feature will get a sizable boost from multiple processors, eg. a quad core mac pro.
On a similar note, does anyone know of any other, preferable free, software that will take a folder containing many images and allow me to convert them into a movie, or just something that final cut can cope with?
