Would like to get started on some QT Panoramic projects but don't know anything about the process. Wanted to know if it involved expensive equipment, software and any prior photographic knowledge?

I already have a fairly decent digital camera but it's point and shoot. I have PS CS3 but nothing else. Any help would be great....

When I got into shooting panoramics about two years ago it became obvious that there a lot of options and ways of doing it, but certainly there's no "best" way.

Here's a few links that may help you:

I would say that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get decent panoramic results.. but if you want to shoot a full 360, up and down QTVR... you're going to have to buy a spherical panoramic head ($100 to $1000). This is outlined in the links above.
