quicktime player 7 registration code

Im wanting to wipe my iMac clean to a fresh install.
This hasn't been done since i purchased it in 08.
I have lost my quicktime player 7 registration code#.
When i go to the app store it says "No purchases".
It was a while ago that i purchased the licenses.
My question is, is there a file or a RECEPT file that i can transfer after i wipe it?
So all i would have to do is replace it in the new file location?
Any help appreciated.

I'm not at my Mac right now but I think you can recover it by opening Player 7 and choosing Registration from the application menu.
