Hi,

If I want to open video from my Mac in QuickTime and watch it on my TV, I have two options. Either make the QuickTime window full screen and project the whole screen using the AirPlay icon in the menu bar, or simply click on the AirPlay icon in the QuickTime window, which will only project the video, not the entire computer screen.
In the former case everything is fine. I can leave the computer unattended and just watch the movie, no matter how long it is.
In the latter case, after a couple of minutes the Mac's screen turns off (as it's configured to do while on battery), the video is paused, and AirPlay gets disconnected.

How can I tell QuickTime to keep the screen on while it's playing? I can't seem to find such an option. It does it by default in full screen. Can it do it in non-full screen as well?

Thank you.
