I record numerous shows off of C-Span2 (mpeg format). Can I use Quicktime Pro to simply strip off the video so I'm left only with audio? I'd like to create an audio podcast to listen on my iPod Touch.

I have Quicktime Pro (mpeg enabled) on a Windows XP machine.

Thanks.

I think you might be to able to export to an audio file.

But I can't remember if I did that before with quicktime or with VLC.

If the export option doesn't work in quictime pro, try it with VLC.

Thanks; I'll try VLC. I was able to do it using MC Media Converter. The sound quality isn't as good as I'd like but that could be the source. Thanks again.
