Quicktime Pro license key problem

I had someone purchase Quicktime Pro for me and I told them to purchase the MAC version, and of course they didn't...

Does anyone know if the license key can be easily exchanged by Apple??

That's a question better suited for Apple. I'd contact their sales or support dept. If the purchase was recent, sometimes you can get a swap with some companies, but I'm not so sure with Apple.
