Hey guys,

I'm on a 2.2Ghz Macbook, Leopard (if that matters) and whenever I am in quicktime playing a movie, it only looks vivid for a few seconds, or whenever i am actively doing something over the video, such as adjusting the volume. When it's not vivid, it's kind of dull and the picture is somewhat washed out. When I open the AV controls, they are dimmed and i cannot click on them. Does anyone know what's going on here ?

No, I know that's not the problem because it only does it with some videos. MOVs don't do it at all, only ones like mpg and wmv videos do it. I have Flip4Mac WMV and Perian, but it's still doing it. Any others ideas?
