Quicktime problem on Snow Leopard - any experts?

Hi.

When I try to play a WMV file on Snow Leopard, it says "Quicktime application must be installed to run this application." It only plays when I open Quicktime X, go to FILE OPEN, and select the file I want to run.

I have flip4mac and never had any trouble playing WMV files by clicking on the applications before when I had Leopard. Why am I having this problem now? How can I get this fixed on Snow Leopard?

Go to the Flip4mac website and download the beta for snow leopard, its still a bit slow but it works fine.
