Recently I had to reinstall my OS from Leopard back to Tiger. Because of this, I have 2 versions of quicktime: 7.5.5 and 7.1.3.

The problem is though, is that every program wants to open movie files on default to 7.5.5 which it doesn't open because the OS isnt the correct version. I try to set it so it will open all files with 7.1.3 but it doesn't seem to register right and still insists on 7.5.5.

Can I safely delete all of the applications in my "previous systems" folder so it will only find the one version to run, or will this break something?
