I have always used my QT to view MP4's in the past. Today I went to show my wife an old MP4 video, and its just all audio.

I must tell everyone before they ask, I have NOT tinkered with QT in any way. I always update when software update suggests to. I have the latest version, 7.4.5.

I have tried to reinstall 7.4.5 and this has changed nothing, even after a reboot. A Google search for this provides little help, so I guess this is unique. I have a one year old MBP, and do not tinker with things I shouldn't.

Please advise. I don't like having a broken QT product. And yes, I know I can use VLC, but I choose to use as many Apple products as possible.

UPDATE: QT MP4's play in iTunes as expected. Just not in the player. Why? And how do I fix it?
