Quicktime X wont play digital copy of movie

So i have a movie that has a digital copy. I redeemed through iTunes. It transferred to my computer. When I went to play it in QT X it either it played then paused after a sec or when it did play there was no sound or video. It plays fine in QT 7 and iTunes. Is this a QT X bug or is it some copyright thing in the digital copy?

thats the only movie that i have thats a digital copy. All the others i rip in handbrake and store on an external drive. They are all .m4v's and all say protected m-peg 4 movie. Those all play fine.
