Hi,
I've downloaded a large file of avi, 8.2GB, try to link all the files together using quicktime player (drag & drop), & got this error.
Please help. I'm not trying to burn to dvd, just link.
Thanks.

By "drag-and-drop", do you mean you drag the files one by one into an open Quicktime window? (I will assume you have many smaller AVI files since you're talking about "linking them together".) Try to select-all and copy-paste them instead and see if that works.

Nope, not working :)
I'm looking for a good free videojoiner, anyone?

Is it also happening even when you try it with a couple of the files?

There is a file-joiner in ffmpegX, but that joins to the AVI format, which has a filesize limit of 4GB, iirc.

My files is way to big for this joiner.
I appreciate your help :)
