Hello,

I tried to find the answer in other topics but I didn't find what I was looking for. Also the Apple website was pretty vague in my opinion. My question: is QuickType supported for every language keyboard? On the Apple website it says something along the lines 'It is optimized for languages including English,...' but does that mean it isn't available for Dutch keyboards?

Anyone able to try this out?

Thanks in advance!

I can tell you that it works in Spanish :) but i will love it that it worked like Swiftkey on android  it will detect the language that your typing without the need to tap and change the language of the keyboard.

Thanks! This is what it says on the Apple website:
The iOS 8 predictive text engine is optimized for languages around the world. Which means you’ll see suggested words and phrases that are right for your language. And as you use the keyboard over time, it will learn the way you communicate, get to know your favorite phrases, and suggest a logical next word.
Supported languages include English optimized for the U.S., UK, Canada and Australia; French; German; Italian; Portuguese optimized for Brazil; Spanish; and Thai. And, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese Kanji input also continue to feature predictive input.

From the first part I assume it works worldwide so for all languages that have a keyboard on iOS. But from the second part it looks like it will only work for the mentioned languages

Quick-Time

Quick-time is automatically enabled and is not available for Dutch (yet)
