Quicky: Restore iPhone Notes from Time Machine

I accidently deleted my iphone notes from mail a few weeks ago and re-synced today- so I've lost all my notes. They're not in the trash. How do I get them from time Machine?

Balls....

I have restored teh mail file which holds the notes and they are now back in the mail app. However, they won't sync!! any ideas? it says that it is syncing but nothing happens; it doesn't hang or anything.

Well hopefully I can help another member if they have the same problem. I added a fullstop to each note in the mail app and then the iphone was able to receive the notes when it synced.

How did you sort this out? I've found the notes in the mailserver on timemachine, but my notes aren't there in on the dates they should have been there.
