Anyone know if it's possible to quit apps on the watch so they aren't running in the background like we are able to do on iPad/iPhone?

I figured it out a few days ago..

1) Go into the app you want to quit.

2) Hold down the side button (friends) until the power options come up

3) Hold down the side button again until the app closes.

You shall not kill apps, not even on your iPhone. Dont know how many times i've said it to my friends. They think they'll save their battery. In fact, YOU dont SAVE battery by doing this!

By closing the app, you take the app out of the phone's RAM . While you think this may be what you want to do, it's not. When you open that same app again the next time you need it, your device has to load it back into memory all over again.

Plus, iOS closes apps automatically as it needs more memory, so you're doing something your device is already doing for you. You are meant to be the user of your device, not the janitor.

Generally, no. But if the app has a bug, then this might need to be done.

Wheel of Fortune on my iPhone drains the battery big time if I don't close it like this! Like 25% per hour.

This, yes. There are also apps that are designed to do stuff if you don't force close them - the Up app will sync with the band every x minutes if you don't force close it, keeping your step synced with the app but draining down the iPhone battery.

There are also some reports from reviewers that force closing the watch companion app saves battery life on the iPhone.

i always quit everything cuz there are always some crappy or intentionally crappy developed apps that keep running but u cant tell exactly which.
