I just opened up this machine for the 2nd time in two days to put back the original DVD drive, because I didn't check that the replacement worked before inserting it

While I had it open, I wondered how many people would be able to tell what model this is?

Once the question has been answered correctly, post your own open Apple machines and see how long it takes for them to be properly identified.
One at a time please so we can know which is current ;)

I anticipate this will get more and more difficult so that's why I've started with a relatively easy machine.

Enjoy :D

Cheers :)

Hi Hugh,

I'm skipping this one as you already told me before ;) .
But I know what it is not just from looking at it....

Best regards,

Ok I have a nice cryptic shot of my first PPC Mac 🙂

Had to dig deep in my phone for this one. There’s some good clues in that pic.

So close but no cigar! 😅

I wanted to add that there’s no trickery either ie: the pic isn’t flipped around or anything. How it looks is identical to what you’d see through your own eyes.

Any guesses for this one? It should be pretty easy as there are a few dead giveaways
