And I'm paying 50 bucks a month for spotty service.

I'm wanting to maybe drop that part of my "complete qwest package" and maybe get a dedicated other provider just for the internet connection.

I live in K Falls Oregon so maybe I don't have any options? :(

Any ideas?

There is Dial up, DSL, and I would presume some form of Cable there. You should come up with one or two workable ideas. You have Western Bell there?

It depends on what is in your area, but often you have the following options;

Local ISP
Wireless ISP
Satellite
Cable
Cellular ISP

The Options I found are:
ClearWire Wireless ISP
Comcast/Charter/Adelphia/Cox (Depends on where in the K F Area you are)

TEG

Hi
Clearwire can be an OK option ( I sell and use it ) but make sure you get at least 3 of 5 signal bars, 4 of 5 is highly recommended. Because it is wireless, it is a bit spendier for the speed but sometimes one of the only other fairly reasonable broadband options. Oddly enough I want to switch to Qwest for my business from Clearwire since they had to lower the antennas on the local tower ( no clue why ) and now I get poor signal ( 1 to 3 signal strength ) and 3 or 7Mbps would be very helpful. We do a lot of Windows Updates and other file download specific activities for our Internet use 90%+ of the time.
