R4DS Card says full when transferring files

can anyone tell me do i need to use something specific to put games on my R4 card from a mac?, i have some from nds roms and they seem fine but when i transfer to the card and put it in my ds they start to load and then say cant find saved data?

one suggestion: reformat the card, and make sure it is in FAT32 format (or just not MAC OS Journaled

The r4ds team is no longer making firmware for the r4. I think the last official firmware was 1.18. Some newer games just don't work. They have different methods for saving your progress. Try some different roms.
