I know in the rendered pics it doesn't show the volume buttons but is this proven to be so in real life? Site is down for me so I can't investigate.

It never shows a picture of the button side as far as I can tell, so how do you guys figure it covers them?
Just got to the site.... it doesn't say anything about buttons being covered but it also doesn't say they're not.

Email sent to company asking for clarification r/t design.
 
Looks nice if that's your thing...

But i can't help but wonder if covering the antennas in aluminium (yes, -ium thank you!) then claiming improvements in reception is wise, given that it is known to be problematic for wireless signals.....

Same here. trying to confirm. Surely they wouldnt
 
Nothing on their site shows the volume / mute side of the phone. But it would be crazy to block them... it's not like this is a water-proof case.

And that "VAPOR" etching looking pretty ridiculous... unless UR 12 L0L!!1!


But otherwise this looks like a pretty nice case.

Ummm, yeah. Element has been making cases for all the i's over the years. Why do you think it's not legit?

IF the volume/silence switch isn't covered and that silly logo isn't down the sides I will pick one up. I rather like it's design.
 
I suggest the Sena leather pouch. Used it for my 3gs, using it temp. for my iphone 4 until they start carrying the 4 version in stores. It keeps it safe in my pocket and I can pull the phone out anytime and actually enjoy the look of the phone. putting a hard shell on it or a bumper takes away from the beauty.

emailed element asking for a Pic of left side before i preorder
 
None of the pictures are of the side with the volume controls, nor does the site say anything about the controls being covered :confused:
