Radeon 7000 PCI (32MB) vs. Rage 128 Pro AGP (16MB)?

Hey everybody,

Just wondering which of these cards is superior? The Radeon has better specs and s-video support, but the Rage is AGP-based. They're both OEM (not flashed cards). I'm not real tech literate on all this, but from what I've read, AGP is apparently much quicker. Is this true, or does the Radeon outperform the Rage Pro overall? Any help is appreciated!

You're screwed both ways. The Rage 128 is on AGP but it's terrible compared to the 7000. The 7000 is stuck on PCI though.

The Radeon 7000 will outperform the Rage 128 Pro according to a CNET review of the Radeon 7000. (link)

I know, I just need to install the one that sucks least! I'm still on a Sawtooth G4, but I get by OK. I appreciate the quick help from both of you guys -- sounds like the 7000 is the clear winner.
