This may be a silly question, but ATI's website is unhelpful, so here goes:

What's the difference between the Radeon 9600 Pro and 9600 XT editions on the mac? And why might the "Pro" version not work with Core Image?

I bought the 9600 for my G4 hoping that it would work, but its not listed as supported (I know that that doesn't mean that it isn't but they specifacally state XT and not Pro). Had I known (and if its true) I would probably just gone with the 9000 and its extra VRAM.

Any thoughts?
