Earlier when I got home from school I noticed the screensaver on my computer (Marine Aquarium 2.0) had frozen, or locked up, whichever term you want to use. I thought this was kind of weird, and and to hold down the power button on the side of the Mac to restart the sucker.

Anyone know if this is perhaps because of my overclocking the videocard in my computer?

Due to the increased heat, it is possible for the computer to lock up. Try clocking it down again and see if it happens. Chances are the performance increase you'd see from overclocking the card in an eMac wouldn't give you a very huge performance increase anyway.

I wouldnt over clock the video card in an eMac unless you have proven speed increases. Usually overclocking a built-in graphics card is quite useless and only causes problems because the cooling isn't there.

Well, I figger the 7500 is **** as it is, so if I can get even a 1% increase in performance out of it, I'll take it.
